Your expertise is the asset.
I build the interactions that let people experience it.

For experienced professional women who have decades of expertise and need a marketing partner who understands how professional wisdom actually works,
not a marketing agency that treats you like any other client

You're excellent at client work. Marketing is the bottleneck.

You have spent your career building serious expertise. You may have led teams, shaped policy, advised boards, or built a reputation in a specialised field. Now you are building something of your own, whether that is a consulting practice, an advisory business, or a coaching and training operation, and you have run into a problem that has nothing to do with your competence.

The marketing never gets done. Not because you lack intelligence or ambition. Because marketing a professional practice is a second business inside your business, and it demands skills, tools, systems, and consistent execution that pull you away from the work you are actually here to do.

There is a deeper reason standard marketing approaches fail experienced professional women.

Your value is not in the information you provide. It is in the judgment, pattern recognition, and contextual understanding that manifest through your interaction with complex situations. AI can now generate information cheaply and at scale. What it cannot produce is the professional judgment to verify which of that information matters and what to do about it.

That verification capacity is exactly what you have built over decades of practice, and it is becoming more valuable, not less, as AI floods the market with generic content. Your marketing needs to demonstrate this difference, not just claim it. That requires a partner who understands what crystallised intelligence is and how it manifests through the right interactions.

I am not a course seller, nor a social media manager. I do not hand you a strategy document and wish you luck. I do the work with you, and for you, over the long term.

There is an articulation problem that affects most experienced professional women: your expertise manifests through interaction, through the way you read a room, reframe questions, and notice patterns others miss. But when you try to describe that value, you reach for object language ("I have thirty years of experience") for something that is fundamentally relational. That is why articulating it clearly is genuinely difficult.

The foundation of everything I build is your Manifesto, a document that captures how you interact with problems, what you believe about your field, and why your approach produces results others can't. Every other marketing provider asks you for a brief. I create the brief. That is why nothing I produce sounds generic, and why the marketing grows stronger the longer we work together.

The shape of it, in one view

Before the detail, here is the whole partnership at a glance, so the rest of this page fills in the picture rather than assembling it.

  • A twelve-month partnership, built in two parts: a three-month Foundation phase, then ongoing monthly work
  • It begins with listening. Discovery first, then your manifesto, then everything else is built from that
  • Investment is AUD $8,500 for the Foundation phase, then AUD $4,950 per month from month four
  • Your time is roughly two to three hours a month. I do the heavy lifting
  • Everything we build is yours, with no lock-ins, whatever happens at the end of the year
  • I work with two to three clients at a time, so the attention is genuinely senior and personal

The aim is not to make you famous. It is to make you known and trusted by the right few hundred people, built over a horizon most competitors will not wait out.

If that shape fits, the sections below show exactly how it works, what gets built, and what the first ninety days feel like.

I complement, not compete

Your coach or advisor helps you define what to say. I make sure the right people hear it.

If you are working with a business coach, a mentor, or an advisor who helps you clarify your positioning, define your services, and develop your business model, that is excellent. I am the person who takes what they help you define and makes it visible. I build the website, write the content, set up the email systems, produce the newsletter, manage the SEO, and keep the whole operation running.

Business coaches and advisors regularly refer clients to me because they know their clients need someone to execute the marketing, not just plan it. I am a natural complement to that work, not a competitor.

About Nigel Rawlins

I have spent 27 years helping professionals get their expertise visible, working from the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria, Australia.

I have worked with independent professionals and professional services businesses for over 25 years. I build fast, professional WordPress sites using Thrive Themes, handle the hosting and speed optimisation, and work with you on the strategic content and SEO that makes your expertise findable.

I also help you productise what you know: turning your accumulated wisdom into ebooks, guides, and diagnostic tools that establish your authority and generate enquiries.

The Wisepreneurs Podcast, with 90+ episodes, serves as my primary research platform: conversations with experienced professionals about how expertise develops, how practices sustain themselves, and how the AI era is reshaping what the market values.

My approach to marketing partnership is informed by years of research into how professional expertise manifests through interaction. That research is the reason I can see what a standard agency would miss about your practice, and build marketing that creates the conditions for the right people to experience what you do.

The Strategic Foundation — The Thinking

Your Manifesto Document

Research in cognitive science identifies an articulation problem that affects most experienced professional women: you are trying to describe a relational quality, the way your judgment interacts with problems, using object language, what you know.

The manifesto process is designed to address this directly by capturing how your expertise actually works in practice, not as a list of credentials but as a pattern of interaction that produces specific outcomes.

Before anything else gets built, we create your manifesto — a three-to-five-page document that captures how you interact with the problems in your field, what you believe about your domain, the language you naturally use, and the relational pattern through which your expertise produces outcomes. And to be honest, often it is much, much longer, bringing in your body of work for reference.

This is not meant as an academic exercise, but it is intensely practical. The manifesto becomes the reference document for everything that follows — your website copy, your content, your newsletter, your design, your lead magnets. It means every piece of marketing sounds like you, because it is built from how you actually engage with problems, not from a template.

Most marketing relationships skip this step entirely. That is why most marketing for professional practices sounds generic. Yours won't be.

Every practice operates within a unique web of interactions: relationships, market conditions, professional history, and the specific way your judgment engages with the problems in your field.

A template ignores that web. The manifesto engages with it. That is why the marketing we build together gets stronger over time rather than going stale.

Your Positioning And Content Architecture

Before any content gets written, I work out how your expertise should be organised so people can find it. That means defining two to three hub pages that anchor your authority in specific topic areas, mapping the content categories that sit beneath them, and building a structure that search engines and AI tools can read clearly.

Most websites for professional practices are organised around services. Yours is organised around what you actually know. Each hub page becomes a long-term asset for search visibility, and every article, podcast appearance, or guide you produce connects back to it. The structure compounds over time rather than sitting as disconnected pages.

This architecture is built from your manifesto. The topics, the language, the way your expertise is framed all come directly from the positioning work we do together.

Your first ninety days

The Foundation phase is the most intensive part of the year, and the most rewarding, because it is where your practice goes from scattered to coherent. Here is how it unfolds. The pace flexes to fit your input and your existing material, so I describe it as a sequence rather than a fixed calendar.

First We Listen — Discovery And Intake

We start with you, not with a template. Through our early sessions I draw out how you actually work: the problems you are drawn to, the way you read a situation, the patterns you notice that others miss, and the body of work you have already built.

I gather what exists — your writing, talks, client materials, and the language you naturally use. Nothing gets created in this stage. The purpose is to understand your practice deeply enough that everything built afterwards genuinely sounds like you. This is the step almost every other marketing provider skips, and it is why most professional marketing sounds generic.

Then We Articulate — Your Manifesto

From that discovery, I draft your manifesto: the document that captures how your expertise engages with the problems in your field, what you believe about your domain, and the relational pattern through which your judgment produces outcomes. You read it, we refine it together, and at some point you reach the line that almost every client reaches — some version of "yes, that is exactly what I do, but I have never been able to say it."

That moment is the real beginning. From here on, the manifesto is the reference for everything: your positioning, your website copy, your content, your design. Every other provider asks you for a brief. This is where I hand you yours.

Then We Build — Positioning, Website, And Systems

With the manifesto settled, the build begins. I define your positioning and content architecture, the two to three hub pages that anchor your authority, then design and build your WordPress site around them. In parallel, my team sets up the infrastructure that makes the practice run: your branded design system, your email marketing and welcome sequence, your booking system, analytics, and the SEO foundations. You review drafts and give input. I direct and quality-control every piece. The detail of what gets built is in the next section.

I do not tie the launch to a fixed date, because the right moment to go live depends on you, on how much material we are working from, and on getting it right rather than getting it fast. What I commit to is the sequence and the standard: by the end of the Foundation phase you have a coherent, professional presence built entirely from how you actually work, and a twelve-month roadmap for what comes next.

What You Do During These Ninety Days

Less than you might fear. You bring your expertise to our sessions, answer my questions as I draw out your thinking, and review what I draft. That is roughly two to three hours a month. The heavy lifting — the writing, building, configuring, and connecting — is mine and my team's. Your job is to be the expert. Mine is to make that expertise visible.

Your 12-Month Marketing Roadmap

A practical plan for the year ahead, shaped the way marketing actually works: a steady rhythm of content and small experiments we can sustain without drama, one or two bigger bets worth real commitment, such as an ebook or a framework you own, and, named just as clearly, the effortful middle we will deliberately avoid.
This gives us a shared direction and keeps the work focused.

The Marketing Infrastructure — What Gets Built Around The Thinking

Your Website

A fast, professionally designed WordPress website built on premium hosting with premium plugins. Core pages include Home, About, Services, Contact, and Blog. I also build two to three hub pages that organise your expertise into navigable topic areas — these become long-term assets for search visibility. We'll work on defining categories for your content.

A lead magnet landing page is included, designed to capture enquiries and start building your email list from day one. Along with any downloadable assets that you want to share or sell.

Pirsch Analytics is set up from day one — it's privacy-friendly, easier to read than Google Analytics, and gives us clear data on what's working. You get a detailed monthly report showing how the site is performing and what to improve next.

SEO is built into the foundation, not bolted on later.
That means proper site structure, linked Person and Organisation identity in your schema so AI systems recognise who you are and connect your work to you, a correctly formatted llms.txt file, and crawler settings that let the AI search engines reach and quote you.

The result is a site that ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI answers can find, read, and cite. As AI search grows, your site is already set up for it. Most marketing providers have not started thinking about this yet.

Your Branded Design System

A set of Canva templates designed to your brand — for social media posts, blog images, newsletter headers, and ebook covers. This gives you and my team a consistent visual identity across every channel without needing a graphic designer for every individual piece.

Your Email Marketing System

FluentCRM is set up and configured on your website. This includes a welcome automation sequence for new subscribers, a newsletter template ready for ongoing use, and subscriber segmentation so you can communicate differently with different groups as your list grows.

Your Booking System

Calendly or an equivalent booking system is set up and integrated with your website, so prospects can book calls with you without the back-and-forth of email scheduling.

Diagram of a small room labelled diagnosis and judgment sitting in front of a larger room labelled execution and deliverables, with a note to lead with the small room on the page.

As AI drives the cost of information toward zero, the premium moves to judgment: reading a situation and knowing what matters. That capacity compounds with practice.

Knowledge Product Development

When you are ready, we develop knowledge products together — ebooks, training programs, assessment tools, or frameworks drawn from your expertise. We work on one product at a time, from concept through to production, so you build a library of intellectual property that generates value beyond your direct client work.

How I Work

It's just me — supported by a team of specialists: web designers, a graphic designer, an editor, book editors, and a range of assistants depending on the context.

AI is at every step, not added on as a shortcut.

Every decision and every word you see passes through me. The AI digs up research and drafts a first pass. The judgment — what to build, what to say, where the line is, what matters and what to leave out — is entirely mine.

That setup exists for one reason: it keeps the client list deliberately short and the attention personal. AI handles the volume; I decide what actually goes out.

I don't share your personal details or confidential business information with any external AI platform, and nothing reaches you or your audience without my review and approval.

The full account of what I use, what I never use AI for, and how your information is protected is on the How I use AI page.

How the Marketing Partnership Works

01

Limited capacity by design

I work with two to three clients at a time. If there is no availability when you enquire, I will let you know and you can join a short waiting list.

02

A 12-month commitment

Building a professional practice's marketing presence takes time. The foundation is built in months one to three. The compounding results — search visibility, content library, email list growth, professional reputation — develop over the full year. A 12-month commitment ensures we have the time to build something that actually works.

A project gives you what you can already name: a website, a campaign, a set of articles. Useful work, but work you could have written into a brief.
A partnership does something a brief cannot. Over a year of building alongside you, we make things neither of us could have specified at the start, because each month's work changes what becomes possible in the next. Your practice moves, your market shifts, and the right step in month nine is one neither of us could have seen in month one. An agency executes the plan you hand it. A partner helps you find the plan worth having, then builds it with you.
That is what the twelve months are for, and it is why I keep to two or three clients at a time.

03

Investment, structured in two parts

This is where we build the marketing foundation your practice will run on for years.

Foundation phase: months one to three AUD $8,500 one-time.
This covers the manifesto document, the WordPress website build with hub pages, branded Canva system, FluentCRM setup with welcome automation and newsletter template, Booking Calendar integration, analytics, SEO foundations, and the twelve-month roadmap.

Monthly partnership: month four onward, AUD $4,950 per month.
This covers your monthly strategy session, typically two long-form articles, two newsletters, website and SEO management, LinkedIn content guidance, analytics reporting, virtual assistant support, and email support with a two business day response time, often much faster.

Marketing success is unevenly distributed: a few things work disproportionately well and most do very little. So we run the year as a portfolio. Everything gets a fair run, whatever moves gets more, and whatever stays flat is dropped without ceremony. You will always know which is which, because we measure it.

We build your market authority through custom-crafted authority assets. These aren't off-the-shelf solutions but signature offerings developed through our ongoing partnership. Investment where appropriate is custom-scoped (AUD 6,000-18,000) to ensure focus remains on strategic positioning rather than commoditised deliverables.

We identify precisely where your expertise gains exponential authority returns – building definitive market presence through partnership.

Everything we build belongs to you. There are no setup fees beyond the Foundation phase, and no hidden charges for hosting, plugins, or tools.
If the partnership ends, you can step down to a maintenance plan, transfer everything to another provider, or manage it yourself (see the FAQ below).

For context, comparable partnerships with Australian boutique agencies typically run AUD 5,000 to 10,000 per month. Wisepreneurs sits inside that range because the work is senior-led, the team is small, and the client list is deliberately short.

04

Your time commitment

Approximately two to three hours per month. One hour for our partnership session. The rest for reviewing drafts, answering my questions, and providing input when needed. I do the heavy lifting.

This Works If You

  • Have deep professional expertise and a clear sense of what you offer, even if you have not yet articulated it in marketing terms
  • Want someone to do the marketing work with you and for you, not just advise you on what to do
  • Are willing to invest in a 12-month relationship because you understand that building visibility takes time
  • Value quality, consistency, and a professional standard in how your practice is represented
  • Prefer working with one dedicated partner rather than managing multiple freelancers or a faceless agency

This Doesn't Work If You

  • Are looking for quick results or viral social media campaigns
  • Want to control every detail of the marketing process yourself
  • Need a large agency with a team of specialists for a complex multi-brand operation
  • Are not yet clear on what professional services you offer or who you serve
  • Are looking for the cheapest option available

Who This Serves

This partnership is built for the established independent professional, most often a woman in her fifties or sixties, who has a real practice generating six or seven figures and wants a small, senior team helping her build authority and a productised offer rather than another freelancer on a task list.

You might be a consultant, an advisor, a coach, a trainer, a researcher, or a specialist practitioner. My current clients work in product safety, fertility medicine, and technical consulting. What you have in common is decades of serious expertise, a professional reputation worth protecting, and a need for marketing that reflects the quality of your work.

If you are just starting out or testing an idea, this is not the right fit yet, and I will say so honestly on a call.

Eight Years Building A Practice That Search Finds

Something has changed in the last two years. Roughly half of all web traffic is now automated, and when a prospective client asks an AI assistant who they should trust, the machine reads your website as the record it checks everything else against. I build so that you are found, understood, trusted, and usable by both people and machines: your positioning consistent everywhere it appears, your expertise structured so an AI can quote it accurately, and your booking and contact simple enough that an assistant acting for a client can actually complete them.

Gail Greatorex spent 25 years as a senior product safety specialist with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission before founding Product Safety Solutions. She is one of a handful of genuine experts in her field in Australia, and one of the few with a professional online presence to match.

When Gail left government she had deep expertise and no web profile. Over eight years working together we built a site now running several hundred specialist pages, a suite of eBooks and white papers, and a content library that consistently outranks the other consultants in her niche.

Her most downloaded resource is a manager's checklist based on two international ISO standards, first published eight years ago with no active promotion since. It is downloaded regularly by major manufacturers and retailers across Germany, Sweden, China, and beyond. The organisations finding it are exactly the ones Gail spent her career working with.

"By maintaining the website it seems to keep me front and centre on search engines. The other consultants in my field don't have the same level of online presence."

Start with a free thirty-minute chat.

If you are still weighing up whether the partnership is for you, or whether one of the paid options below is the right starting point, book a free thirty-minute conversation via Google Meet. No charge, no pitch.
We talk about where your practice is now, what you are trying to build, and
I give you a straight answer about which of the options below fits best, or whether none of them do.

Start with a Positioning and Practice Audit, AUD $3,900

If you want to see how I think before committing to the twelve-month partnership, the Positioning and Practice Audit is the right starting point.
Over three weeks I deliver a written positioning document, a review of how you are found, understood, and trusted online, including what AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity currently say about you when someone asks, and whether your description is consistent across your website, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile and any directories, a twelve-month content and productisation roadmap, laid out as a handful of small experiments you can sustain, one or two bigger bets, and what to deliberately avoid

Everything in that package is yours to keep. Whether or not we work together after that, you leave with strategic work you can act on immediately, or hand to another provider if that turns out to be the better fit.

If you continue into the partnership within ninety days, your Foundation phase is AUD $4,600, because the positioning work is already complete.
The first call is just for us to get to know each other and clarify if this is for you, unless of course you have already done this.

One strategic question, answered properly. $1500.00

A ninety-minute conversation focused on one strategic question about your practice, followed by a written brief you can act on, including what to stop doing.

This is not a full diagnostic or a coaching programme. It is a single, senior-level conversation for the moment when you need an experienced outside perspective on a specific question: whether to productise, how to reposition, what to charge, what to stop doing, or where your expertise creates the most value in an AI-reshaped market.

How it works
We meet on Google Meet for ninety minutes. I use the meeting's transcript tool so I can give you full attention during the call.
Within five business days I'll send you a two to three page written brief built from the conversation, with my strategic commentary added.

You leave with something you can act on immediately.

Who this is for
Experienced professional women, typically fifteen years or more in their field, who have one specific strategic question they want a senior, outside view on. If you want a full picture of your practice with a twelve-month roadmap, the Positioning and Practice Audit at AUD 3,900 is the better fit.

frequently asked questions

Why is the Foundation phase priced separately from the monthly fee?

The first three months are a disproportionate amount of work.
The manifesto, the website, the design system, the email setup, and the roadmap all happen in that window.
Pricing the Foundation separately at AUD 8,500 reflects the actual effort, and keeps the ongoing monthly fee honest.
Once the Foundation is in place, the monthly AUD 4,950 covers genuine ongoing work, not hidden amortisation of the build.

How is this different from hiring a marketing agency?

A marketing agency assigns you to an account manager who handles multiple clients simultaneously and rotates staff. You typically get a monthly report and a set of deliverables, but no one person deeply understands your expertise or your positioning.

This is a dedicated partnership with one person, me who learns your field, your language, and how your expertise actually interacts with the problems you solve, and works with you consistently over 12 months.
The manifesto process alone sets this apart from any agency engagement.

What if I already have a website?

We assess what you have. If your existing website is well-built and serves your needs, we can work with it — migrating it to faster hosting if needed, improving the content and SEO, and integrating it with the email and design systems we build. If it makes more sense to start fresh, we build a new site. Either way, you end up with a website that properly represents your practice and is configured for long-term findability and engagement.

What happens after 12 months?

You have three options. You can continue the partnership on a month-to-month basis. You can step down to a lighter ongoing arrangement focused on specific deliverables. Or you can take full ownership of everything we have built — your website, your content, your email list, your design templates — and manage it yourself or with another provider. Nothing is locked in. Everything we build belongs to you.

Do I need to be tech-savvy?

No. I manage all the technical infrastructure.

Your role is to bring your expertise, participate in our monthly session, and spend two to three hours per month reviewing drafts and providing input.

I handle everything technical, and the tools I use (WordPress, Canva, FluentCRM) are designed so that if you ever want to learn them you can, but you don't need to.

My virtual assistant handles content uploading, formatting, and scheduling.

What industries do you work with?

I work with independent professionals in specialised fields — consulting, advisory, coaching, training, and professional services. My current clients operate in product safety, fertility medicine, and technical consulting. The common thread is deep expertise that deserves sophisticated, professional marketing rather than generic templates and social media tactics.

Can I start with a smaller engagement first?

Yes. The Strategy Intensive is a standalone ninety-minute session on one specific question about your practice, with a written brief delivered within five business days.

It is AUD 1,500 and complete in itself — not a discounted first step into anything larger.

If the conversation shows the real issue is the whole practice rather than one question, I will say so and point you to the audit.

If you are not ready for either, book a free 30-minute conversation and we will have an honest discussion about the right next step for you, whether that is with me or not.

What do I actually own if the partnership ends?

Everything. Your website, all its content, your email subscriber list, your design templates, your manifesto document, any knowledge products we have developed — all of it is yours. There are no proprietary systems or lock-ins.

If you choose not to continue the partnership, you have three options:

Option 1: Step down to a Maintenance Plan. I continue to host, secure, update, and maintain your website on an ongoing basis. Maintenance starts at $300 per month for hosting, security, backups, and technical upkeep. If you also want content updates, newsletter management, or SEO monitoring, plans start at $600 per month. Most departing clients choose this — the site keeps running smoothly without you needing to think about it.

Option 2: Transfer everything to another provider. I hand over all assets, logins, and documentation. You or your new provider take over hosting (approximately $300 per year) and plugin licences (approximately $320 per year). I ensure a clean transition.

Option 3: Manage it yourself. If you have the technical skills or want to learn, everything is built on standard WordPress with well-documented tools. It is yours to manage however you choose.

A WordPress website requires regular maintenance — security updates, plugin updates, backups, and performance monitoring. Without it, sites become vulnerable and eventually break. I recommend either Option 1 or working with a qualified WordPress professional if you move on.
